Just thinking and realizing that it may be true that I am slightly ADD and Hyperactive(that part is most likely true :-) Or I am a mother with four children that tries to do everything at once. Sign homework, schedule, make phone calls, run errands, send an e-mail, make dinner all while cleaning up the trail of toys, papers and clothes I find endlessly around the house. I think I need a goat.
I know I am not alone in this adventure and that most moms are really super moms because this is just part of the gig. Ambitious or ADD or Hyperactive, I would be so sad without all the busy. I really love it, because I get to be with my kids and family and once in a while get to just be silly and laugh with them. Love'm so much.

Be Alive!
I wish sometimes that life would listen to me and try to get in line with what I had planned, but that really is the beauty of life. It is real and has so many more facets to it than one could ever dream up. It is beautiful because it has struggle and success with a little unexpected spice all rolled into one giant yummy burrito.
My friend just lost her Mom and the thought of this is difficult for my whole self to take it, but I know God is with her. It reminds me yet again how much I love mine and the rest of my family and all of you despite our flagrant imperfections. Love you all. I know it has been a roller coaster for many this past couple of weeks so hang in there, try not to puke and enjoy the ride. Life is only once. Make it yours and know you did your best.
"Think freely. Smile often. Tell those you love you do. Rediscover old friends. Make new ones. Hope. Grow. Give in. Pick daises. Share them. Keep a promise. Laugh heartily. Reach out. Let someone in. Hug a kid. Slow down. See a sunrise. Listen to the rain. Trust life. Have faith. Enjoy. Make some mistakes. Learn from them. Explore the unknown. Celebrate life...
Be Alive!"

Twins
In our family twins are common. My Mom has a twin, my twin brother and sister and then we are lucky enough to have twins. What fun and sometimes unique things to go through with twins. It is human nature to compare them.
Ugh.
Honestly this really stinks if you are a twin. I can see that it is difficult for my boys to think about the fact that someone thinks he is better or worse at something than his twin brother. Their personalities and likes and dislikes are very different. I think they wonder why they get compared. One is the leader and the other is the follow-upper. They see it as very complimentary and get along very well, mostly. They help and care about each other and in their little minds one is just helping and one is just leading. Abe the helper has no desire to be the leader and Adam has no desire to sit in the corner and not help by leading.
I hope that as they grow they realize that people will compare them, but not to worry about it and to just be their best selves.

The picture at the top.
I like this picture because it shows that we get stretched in so many directions as moms. We love some of it and some of it we dread, but we grow no matter what. That is how I feel at the end of a day when I look at my kids who are sleeping. I know it has been a day full of life that has exhausted us all for one night. The next morning we will be up early and ready to go do it all over again and hopefully just be glad God gave us another day. Thanks.

A post just to say its me.
So yep I don't blog much because potty training and my sweet 1 1/2 year old who has turned into a a very energetic boy (code for "I think he grew horns."). He pooped today though in the potty so we celebrate that whole heartily. Hallelujah! I thought I would put up post to satisfy those who wonder if we are alive and thankfully we are.
Other than that I have three other kids Kate Adam and Abe who keep me crazy and busy and I love'm. Johnny and I for solace dream of going to an island resort and feeding each other peanuts dipped in chocolate. We are glad to be alive and have many wild adventures on the Yelifari Safari.
